Since the Lord's New Chapel teaches what is a new understanding of the Word and that this is probably unknown to many of you, and you may be skeptical, the following is written so that some light of understanding may be opened to you. One of the doctrinal things that stands out in the Lord's New Chapel that is taught is that to truly understand the meaning of the Word one must know and accept that there is an internal or spiritual sense within its literal sense. And, of course, it goes without explanation that one must listen to or follow the truth to receive enlightenment.

The Lord saves man through His Goods and Truths, that is, when man loves and has faith in the Lord. This teaching of an internal or spiritual sense of the Word may be clearly seen throughout the materials presented on this web site. Up to this point, the doctrine page has focused on the Word - the Sacred Scriptures - mainly showing that there is an internal or spiritual sense in the Word, for it is from the Word that doctrine is developed. In the 'On-Line' study page subjects are taught that help to understand doctrine and they began with the Lord Himself, because it is the Lord who is the principle that doctrine is developed and on which one's worship is based. Other than these there is only the 'Home' and the 'About' pages, which basically tell what are the Church's beliefs. In order to broaden the knowledge and help develop one's doctrine a new doctrinal subject is added that one can understand what true doctrine in based upon.
